LAYBS offers ASA Softball programs, the strongest softball program in the country, for girls ages 5-14 ranging from Ponytail for beginners (it's T-ball with a 10" squishy softball), through the following ASA divisions: 8 & Under (8U), 10 & Under (10U), 12 & Under (12U) and, for teenagers, 14 & Under (14U).

In Spring seasons, from mid-February through mid-June each team in the ASA divisions typically plays two games per week, one on Saturday and one on a weeknight (Monday through Thursday). Ponytail plays one game each week, on Saturdays only. There are no games on Fridays or Sundays for Spring season.
Program registration is based on league age eligibility. The cutoff dates for age eligibility determination for Softball are defined as the child's age as of December 31st of the year prior to the Spring season. Any child who is between 5 and 14 years old on December 31st of the applicable year is eligible to participate in one or more of our Softball programs.
