Volunteer Opportunities
Parent Participation
Los Altos is purely a volunteer program, and as such all player's parents are expected to participate. At a minimum, each player's family is required to serve a shift in the Snack Shack during the course of the season. However, we encourage everyone to become more involved in our Los Altos "family" as a volunteer in some capacity, whether it be on the Board of Directors, on the field as a Manager or assistant Coach, as a member of the Auxiliary that runs the Snack Shack, on the Maintenance crew to help maintain our fields as the finest in District 38, or simply as a helper for one or more of the special events we hold throughout the season, such as the Pancake Breakfast, Picture Day, Sponsor Day, one of our fundraisers like the Golf Tournament, etc.
If you or another member of your family wishes to volunteer in any capacity, the Volunteer link at the bottom of this page allows you to register any family member as a volunteer in as many capacities as desired using your login account. Be sure to enter the correct name and information for each volunteer you register with us.
All volunteers are required to submit to a background check of the Megan's Law sexual offender database. Anyone convicted of a sexual offense will not be allowed to volunteer in any league capacity. Click on the following link to download a copy of the volunteer application, fill out a copy for each volunteer, and turn it in with a copy of the volunteer's Driver's License at tryouts.
